Expert Tankless Water Heaters in Baltimore, MD

Tankless water heaters give Baltimore homeowners hot water on demand without keeping a large tank heated all day. Best Mechanical Inc handles installation, replacement, and service for tankless systems throughout Baltimore, Towson, Pikesville, Dundalk, Essex, Reisterstown, and every community we serve. Many homes in the Baltimore area are older rowhomes with tight basements and long pipe runs. A wall-mounted tankless unit frees up that cramped utility space and works well in narrow layouts where a bulky tank is hard to fit. Baltimore winters bring cold incoming water temperatures, so proper sizing matters. We assess your home's hot water demand, fuel type, and existing venting before recommending a unit. Gas line or venting upgrades are handled as part of the job when needed. If your tank is running out of hot water during peak morning use or taking up space you need, a tankless system is worth a close look. Call Best Mechanical Inc to talk through your options.

Tankless Water Heaters FAQ

Yes, tankless systems work reliably through Baltimore winters when they are sized correctly for cold incoming water temperatures. Proper sizing during installation is what keeps performance consistent year-round.

Sometimes, yes. Gas tankless units often require a larger gas line and dedicated stainless venting, and we assess both before the installation begins.

Yes, annual descaling is recommended because Baltimore's water supply can cause mineral buildup on the heat exchanger over time. Routine service keeps the unit running efficiently and extends its life.

We look at your household's hot water demand, number of fixtures, fuel type, and local water temperature before recommending a unit. Getting the flow rate right means you won't run short during peak use in Cockeysville, Rosedale, or anywhere else we serve.

Extremely timely and professional. I had my outdoor unit stolen, and they came within a week to assess it, write me an estimate, work with my insurance, and complete the work. The workers were extremely courteous.

Best Mechanical Inc. did a fantastic job installing new ductwork for our HVAC system. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and fairly priced. Cameron, Shawn, and the rest of the crew were a genuine pleasure to work with — courteous, communicative, and clearly skilled at what they do. The quality of the work speaks for itself. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC work.

I had a very bad day and Best Mechanical made it significantly better. My heat stopped working Thursday so I called right when they were about to close. Initially, they said they had no spots available for Friday, but they would do all they can to make sure that someone came to fix my boiler, which was not working. It’s two days before a major polar vortex. I called another company to look at my boiler. This other company did come out and attempt to fix it and I was charged for the boiler being fixed, but after they left, it did not work. Best Mechanical had called me earlier to see if I needed someone to come out. I told them I didn’t because I had another company already at the house. After the company had left and the boiler didn’t work I called them and they said that there was nothing they could do. I called Best Mechanical and asked if someone can still come out. They sent someone out and fixed my boiler. I have heat again!! Not only did they fix it but they accurately found out what was wrong with it. The other company was already trying to come Monday with a part that they said was the issue when it wasn’t the issue. Cheers to Best Mechanical!! The price is a little above average but you get what you pay for. I should have gone with them from the beginning . The other company was cheaper but they charged me for not fixing my boiler. With Best Mechanical you are paying for expertise, great customer service and a job well done last minute before a major freeze.
